Prajapati produced in special court


Allahabad: Former UP cabinet minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati, who is an accused in a gangrape case, was produced earlier than the special courtroom (MP and MLA) here on Saturday.
During the courtroom complaints, the cross-examination of the survivor lady happened. Subsequently, special pass judgement on Pawan Kumar Tiwari, who is presiding over the special courtroom, mounted April 4 as the following date for additional evidence.

District executive recommend (felony) Gulab Chandra Agrahri said that other witnesses could be examined on the subsequent date.

Earlier, a different POCSO courtroom had framed fees towards Prajapati and 6 other co-accused in the gang-rape case.

Prajapati is in prison and was produced for listening to underneath tight safety. Earlier, the courtroom had charged Gayatri and co-accused Vikas, Ashish, Ashok Amrendra, Chandrapal and Rupeshwar underneath sections 376 (D), 354A(1), 509, 504 and 506 of IPC. Gayatri, Vikas, Ashish and Ashok have also been charged with section five(G) read with section 6 of the POSCO Act.


The lady had lodged an FIR with Gautampalli police of Lucknow on February 18, 2017, on the course of the Supreme Court. Later, the investigating officer filed a charge-sheet towards the accused persons, together with Prajapati.


Subsequently, after the setting up of the special courtroom (MP and MLA), as consistent with the course of the apex courtroom, the topic was shifted here.
