Noida: Ex-YEIDA CEO booked again


GREATER NOIDA: As many as 11 former Yamuna Authority officers, together with ex-CEO P C Gupta, 13 other people and entities commonplace to the Rs 126 crore land rip-off, had been booked in any other land fraud. This alleged second rip-off is estimated to be of Rs 24 crore.

Cooperative Bank Noida and Noida Commercial Bank Ltd, two firms, Parsaul Agritech Pvt Ltd and ANG Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, and the finance division’s accountant.

Gupta is these days in judicial custody since his arrest from Madhya Pradesh remaining 12 months for allegedly obtaining 57.1 hectares of land at an inflated fee from relatives and acquaintances despite the fact that the land in reality had no software. Several others involved in the earlier rip-off also are behind bars.


The latest rip-off — orchestrated by the ‘P C Gupta gang’ in a modus operandi similar to the former land fraud case — was unearthed after present YEIDA chairman Prabhat Kumar initiated an inquiry into the acquisition deals of 14.five hectares in Midhawali village of Hathras district in 2014.


Following the inquiry by GM (making plans) of YEIDA, the Kasna police station just lately lodged an FIR in opposition to as many as 24 accused individuals/entities out of which, many names determine in the Rs 126 crore land rip-off case. The FIR was lodged at the criticism of Gajendra Singh, YEIDA inspector.
