Lok Sabha polls: Apna Dal seals pact with BJP


LUCKNOW: BJP in the end sealed its alliance with Apna Dal (Sonelal), the Kurmi-dominated political outfit, giving it two seats on Friday after handing out 9 MoS ranks to the alliance partner within the state, hours prior to the type code got here into power.

Anupriya's husband Ashish Singh Patel later got elected as MLC.


Last month, even Kunwar Haribansh Singh broke away from Apna Dal and shaped Akhil Bharatiya Apna Dal, accusing party management of nepotism. While Haribansh has been aligning with BJP, Krishna has been maintaining her choices open whilst sending feelers to Opposition parties, together with Congress.


Anupriya too accused BJP of not giving due appreciate to allies and was once skipping government occasions. Sources stated, she was once difficult 5 seats in UP. Sources in BJP stated the saffron party sought after to keep an elbow room to regulate different Apna Dal factions too. When contacted, Krishna Patel refused to remark and stated she would take decision after consulting party colleagues.
