IMFL bottles worth Rs 2.9 lakh seized; eight held

RAJKOT: A complete of 841 bottles of Indian-made overseas liquor (IMFL), price Rs 2.nine lakh, had been seized and 8 bootleggers had been arrested in several combing operations performed through the Rajkot rural local crime department (LCB) officers on Friday night time.

Ravi Dube used to be arrested with 111 IMFL bottles, price Rs 33,300 from a farm owned through Mayursinh Jadeja at the outskirts of Kangashiyali village of Lodhika taluka in Rajkot district.

“In the second case, Mamad Ravkeda used to be arrested with 468 IMFL bottles, price Rs 1.54 lakh, from his SUV near Virpul toll booth. The third case used to be reported from Dhoraji the place Dhaval Chaudhary (19), Nilesh Parmar (20) and their friends including a girl known as Kiran, Vipul, Punit and Jonti Bagada had been arrested with 142 IMFL bottles, price Rs 42,600,” mentioned M N Rana, inspector with Rajkot rural LCB.
