HC to decide on validity of JMM MLA vote in RS polls


RANCHI: The Jharkhand high court on Wednesday framed the problems of argument in an election petition filed by Pradeep Kumar Sonthalia difficult the election of Congress candidate Dheeraj Sahu to the Rajya Sabha within the biennial elections in March 2018.


Sonthalia who lost the Rajya Sabha polls by zero.33 votes had filed a petition with the HC difficult the validity of vote forged by JMM MLA Amit Mahto, who used to be convicted at the day he voted.
