Gurugram: Undertrial tries to flee; nabbed

GURUGRAM: An undertrial, who attempted to carry out a dramatic break out via throwing chili powder at a police constable on Friday, is back at the back of bars after the similar cop overpowered him.

In April 2018, Manoj alias Moni was once booked beneath the POCSO Act at the girls’s police station (west). The Rajendra Park resident was once arrested and lodged in Bhondsi prison closing year. ASI Subhash Bokan, spokesperson of Gurugram police, mentioned, “The accused mentioned that he brought the chili powder from the prison. He allegedly deliberate the break out after taking inspiration from a TV serial.” He added police had been having a look into imaginable involvement of different prison staffers. Police commissioner Muhammad Akil mentioned, “We are happy with constable Ram Chander. He might be rewarded.”
