Gang robs sago broker office of Rs 3L

Salem: In a huge sunlight robbery, a four-member gang took away Rs 3.30 lakh from a sago dealer workplace on Gran bazar at Attur right here on Saturday by means of holding its manager at knifepoint. The Attur the city police have registered a case and introduced a manhunt for the accused.

Police mentioned the shop used to be run by means of M Prakash, 44, of the same locality. “On Saturday round 2.30 pm, two males on motorbike stopped by means of the workplace and certainly one of them approached its manager Sheik Dawood, also of Attur, in the hunt for to grasp sago charges. An hour later, Prakash reached the workplace and located his manager tied to the chair. Sheik Dawood narrated the incident to Prakash, who lodged a complaint with the Attur the city police.

Police subsequently inspected the crime scene and held inquiry with Sheik Dawood. They also pressed sniffer canine into provider, but with little success.

The Attur the city police have registered a case and additional investigation is on.
