Ex-mayor challenges Owaisi to contest from Aligarh

AGRA: Former mayor of Aligarh, Shakuntala Bharti challenged All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi to contest from Aligarh if he is ready to face a ‘humiliating defeat’.
While addressing girls at the occasion of BJP Vishal Sankalp Mahila Sameelan on Friday, Bharti stated that she's going to show Oawasi his actual worth if he contests from Aligarh. She stated Owaisi may not be allowed to enter any space of the city.

“Owasi had used abusive language towards ‘Bharat Mata’. All the women from Aligarh will reply aggressively as he is trying to smash India,” Bharti stated. Questioning Owaisi’s plans on contesting Lok Sabha polls from Aligarh, Bharti stated, “Is he planning to contest elections with the give a boost to of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) students?”

BJP state vice-president of Mahila Morcha, Ranjana Upadhyaya stated that Priyanka Gandhi will make no affect within the state. “She has been within the politics for the previous several years but this time, she has been brought to the fore as Congress is aware of Rahul can not do much for it in UP,” she stated.

She claimed that BJP is the one birthday party which has given respect and security to girls. She stated, “Our defence minister, foreign minister and many different girls are playing a significant function in politics,” Upadhyaya stated. Unlike BJP, different events are interested in selling ‘parivarvad’, she added.

On being requested about price ticket distribution to girls applicants, she stated that BJP is the one birthday party that provides equal house to girls and tickets could be given to deserving girls applicants.
