Doctor ends life in her study room at Barara

AMBALA: A 24-year-old MBBS go out woman allegedly committed suicide by means of hanging herself at her area in Barara block of the district on overdue Thursday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Shristi, who had finished her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2017 from Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) in Mullana village of the district Ambala.

In his observation to the police, Om Prakash Singh, the lady's father, mentioned his daughter has ended her lifestyles after hanging herself with a fan in her school room in the house at around 8pm on Thursday evening.

“My daughter was preparing for physician of drugs (MD) at house. She was customary however we did not know the reason why she took this excessive step”, mentioned Singh.

Barara SHO Satish Kumar mentioned, “As in step with the investigation it sort of feels that the lady has ended her lifestyles because of the power of research. On Friday, the postmortem of the deceased woman has been carried out at MMU Hospital in Mullana and her dead body has been handed over to her members of the family for remaining rites. We have finished our lawsuits as in step with Section 174 (police to enquire and file on suicide, etc.) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).”

The deceased father Singh runs a Karyana retailer in Barara town.
