Denied cash, man grabs baby from ailing wife

MUMBAI: A drunk guy snatched his two-month-old son from his unwell spouse after his in-laws refused to offer him money to shop for liquor. The guy, Raju Sawant, had had a controversy along with his in-laws. His spouse, Vanita, has been admitted to KEM Hospital for a surgery. He left in a huff and boarded a teach on Friday.

The passengers, who took Raju to the RPF outpost, mentioned he was once reeking of alcohol. The child had grew to become pale with starvation and to pacify the baby, an unknown girl breastfed it, the passengers mentioned.

Around 1.45pm, two passengers took Raju to the RPF's outpost at Dadar because the baby was once bawling frequently. The RPF group of workers rushed the baby back to its mom in sanatorium.

"Sawant told our team about the tiff he'd had with his in-laws," mentioned senior inspector Satish Menon of Dadar RPF.
