Colourful ‘The She Fest’ showcases women’s skills

Nagpur: ‘The She Fest’, a two-day thrilling tournament for families, organized by The Times of India and Maharashtra Times to mark International Women’s Day and have a good time the spirit of womanhood, used to be inaugurated by mayor Nanda Jichkar at Press Club Lawns, Civil Lines, on Saturday.
The aim of the development, organized in affiliation with Jyoti Kapoor, Monica Bhagwagar, Parveen Tuli and Neeta Singh, is to empower the society by giving ladies entrepreneurs of more than a few fields a possibility to showcase their ability and talents on a not unusual a platform.

In her cope with, Jichkar congratulated the organizers and welcomed ladies at the tournament. She stated she used to be satisfied to look that ladies of Nagpur are changing as the town is changing.

The highlight of the primary day used to be the launch of a book referred to as, ‘How I got my Belly Button’, written by Anju Kish, a former Nagpurian. It is a fun, truthful and easy-to-understand book for kids on puberty, growing up and intercourse that solutions all their questions in a gradual and factual manner.

The colourful fest has around 45-50 stalls of fashion apparel and accessories, jewelry, hand-crafted items, cooking display, instructional aids, buying groceries material, chat display, Zumba, quiz, standup comedy, ability workshops, reside band and a fun youngsters’ zone for all the young ones who want to have a gala time at the carnival, and much more.

Families were seen showing keen hobby in more than a few merchandise displayed at the stalls put up by entrepreneurs. The young ones too had a time to have a good time at the tournament.

Besides workshops, reside music and presentations, ten ladies achievers of the town will probably be felicitated on Sunday night, the ultimate day of ‘The She Fest’.

The fest will remain open from 11am to 10pm at The Press Club Lawns, Civil Lines, on Sunday.
