Coimbatore-Bangalore YSR Uday Express to run from June

COIMBATORE: The railways on Saturday announced that the Coimbatore-Bangalore YSR Uday Express will run six days a week, except on Wednesday.

This move comes after a lot of scholars and IT professionals working in Bengaluru demanded a educate on Monday to take them back to paintings and college, after a weekend. Since the railways require in the future in a week for upkeep of chair vehicles, they have got made up our minds to not run the educate on Wednesday.

“We want one full day for upkeep of chair car trains. All trains including Shatabdi and Intercity trains have one exemption day for this purpose,” said a railways spokesperson. “We had initially set Monday for a similar purpose. But due to steady passenger requests, we forwarded them to the headquarters, who in turn changed the schedule on Saturday,” he said.

Due to the advanced reservation period being in place for 90 days, the change in schedule will come into drive 90 days from Saturday, which is June 14. “We can't cancel any individual’s tickets, so we need to give 90 days to enforce the change in schedule,” said an respectable.
