Withdraw case against me: Kushwaha to cops

PATNA: Former Union minister and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief Upendra Kushwaha, towards whom an FIR used to be lodged for the hot scuffle with police during his celebration’s Aakrosh March, reached the Kotwali police station here on Saturday and requested police officers to arrest him. The police, on the other hand, in a well mannered way declined his “be offering”.

Kushwaha mentioned he had now not gone to the Kotwali police station for in search of bail, but to get himself arrested. “Since it used to be a false case, the police must withdraw it,” he mentioned.

“On Saturday, we requested Kushwaha a few questions about the incident and then let him cross,” Kotwali police station inspector-cum-SHO Ram Shankar Singh mentioned, including court lawsuits would observe in the case.
