Wedding guests assault 5-star Delhi hotel staff

NEW DELHI: There was once ruckus at a five-star resort in west Delhi's Janakpuri after a group of wedding ceremony visitors clashed with the personnel. The commotion happened after an alleged argument broke out over serving of stale food all through the wedding serve as on Saturday. Police stated the incident was once reported round 9pm on Saturday at Piccadily resort near Janakpuri district centre. The resort was once booked for the wedding of a west Delhi-based businessman. The resort is set up through Jessica Lall's killer Manu Sharma.

The resort personnel told police that a crew of inebriated visitors barged into the kitchens and smashed the plates at the floor. On protesting, a few of them have been dragged out through their collars and overwhelmed through the wedding visitors. A police staff reached the resort and detained two of the visitors and a resort staffer below Section 107/151 of CrPC (disruption of peace).

DCP (west) Monika Bhardwaj stated that the police had recieved a copy of the video from the social media however didn't recieve a proper grievance until Monday night time. "We have registered a case of damage to property and assault. The video is being analysed to identify the culprits," she stated.
