‘Uri- The Surgical Strike' box-office


Directed by Aditya Dhar 'Uri- The Surgical Strike' stars Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles. This movie is according to the actual occasions of 2016 when the Indian Army countered the fatal terrorist attack at Uri Army Base camp in Kashmir by sporting out a surgical strike. Based at the surgical moves carried out in 2016 by the Indian Army, ‘Uri…’ is a dramatization of the Army's operation towards terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in 2016, in retaliation to an attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri that killed 17 Army workforce.


"How is the Josh" - the catchy phrase from this movie has been going viral at the Internet and it even made a debut in Parliament house with Union Minister Piyush Goyal's finances speech.


Apart from Yami Gautam and Vicky Kaushal, the movie also stars Mohit Raina, Paresh Rawal and Kirti Kulhari in pivotal roles.
