UP: 1 killed in group clash over kite flying

MUZAFFARNAGAR: A clash between two groups over kite flying took communal color, leaving one individual lifeless and five injured at Chatrela village of the district on Monday. Three of the injured are women. A group of PAC has been deployed within the village and 10 individuals booked.

According to police, members of the family of Raj Kumar, 60, have been flying kite from their roof after they entered into a controversy with youths from every other space belonging to the opposite neighborhood. Soon, the tussle escalated and over a dozen males forcibly entered Raj Kumar’s space that led to a full-blown clash between two families.

Raj Kumar were given significantly injured within the clash and later died whilst being taken to hospital. His spouse and 4 others have been injured.

As the details about the clash unfold, PAC and police staff have been deployed within the house. On Tuesday, Raj Kumar was once cremated beneath heavy police protection whilst some of the 10 accused Munnawar was once arrested.

According to sources, after a minor spate between children over kite-flying on Monday afternoon, elders from either side faced each others within the late evening and one workforce allegedly entered Raj Kumar' space and attacked the circle of relatives. Those injured within the clash have been Raj Kumar’s spouse Rajwati Devi and different members of the family Jagawati Devi (50), Babita (40), Parveen (30) and Aditya (25).

A case was once registered after a grievance filed by way of Raj Kumar’s son Vikas Kumar against 10 people for homicide, rioting, using fatal weapons, illegal assembly and trespassing.

SP Sudhir Kumar mentioned: “There is peace within the village now and we now have deployed sufficient police force. Raids are being conducted to nab all offenders.” When requested about the cause of Raj Kumar’s dying, he mentioned: "No wound on the body was once found. We will ascertain the reason once put up mortem file is out.”

SDM of the area, Kumar Bhupendra, mentioned: "The management hsa given Rs 6.05 lakh to the deceased’s circle of relatives beneath other heads. We also really useful further reimbursement Rs five lakh from Mukaymantri Rahat Kosh,” SDM mentioned.
