LONDON: British MPs on Wednesday sponsored Prime Minister Theresa May's newly-revised plan for leaving the European Union -- which raises the opportunity of delaying Brexit.

Lawmakers approved a three-step plan unveiled through the embattled chief on Tuesday, that will give her more time to renegotiate an settlement struck with the bloc final 12 months.

If she fails to win MPs' fortify for her transformed deal through March 12, they are going to vote on March 13 and 14 on leaving the EU as scheduled on March 29 without an settlement -- or delaying Brexit.
