Trichy corpn officials seize 10 stray cattle


TRICHY: Carrying ahead the enforcement force that commenced final month to penalise the livestock house owners who let their livestock rule city roads, Srirangam zone officers of the Trichy Corporation seized 10 stray livestock from the busy roads on Tuesday.

The company in November final 12 months made bulletins informing livestock house owners within the city to restrict their animals inside of their compounds and to not let the livestock input the city roads.


However, as complaints about stray livestock risk many times cropped up from various portions of the city, officers with Srirangam zone constituted a crew of sanitary officers and company staff. They seized 10 stray livestock from roads on Tuesday.


The enforcement force that commenced within the morning noticed the crew seizing 10 livestock, together with three calves, from the Salai Road, Ammamandapam Road, and Moolathoppu.


The animals had been subsequently moved to the Srirangam zonal place of work. “Cattle house owners had been penalised at the charge of Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 in step with animal seized. A complete of Rs 7,000 was accumulated as consequences from livestock house owners on Tuesday,” S Panneerselvam, sanitary inspector, Srirangam zone informed TOI.
