This govt school in Chamarajanagar village has just one guest teacher

Mysuru: Five classes and 22 students, however only one guest instructor. This is how students of classes I to V at Ellachetti college below Gundlupet block education place of job of Chamarajanagar district are preparing for the yearly examinations prior to now one month.
Villagers bitch that the students are going through lot of issues for the past one month as their common instructor went on maternity depart and the dep. of public instruction didn’t appoint any new instructor in her place. However, block education officer (BEO), Gundlupet, Alati Somashekharaiah, said a instructor can be despatched to the school from Thursday.

According to the villagers, the federal government college has classes only upto V. For higher classes, the students need to commute six kilometres.

“As there are no different college nearby, all local residents favor this school,” said Kumar, an area resident.

“Till closing month, there have been two lecturers. One of them was a guest instructor. Now the common instructor went on maternity depart. How can a single instructor care for five classes in combination? What will students in different classes do this time? We are requesting for a instructor on deputation foundation for the past one month. But authorities aren't showing any pastime,” he said.

Meanwhile, resources in DPI said that since it is an interior village, no instructor wants to serve there. “It is not easy for the DPI to search for lecturers. Still, a lot of advert hoc preparations have been made. But locals are not easy full-time instructor as examinations are drawing near,” said an officer.

“From Thursday, a instructor will get started working in the college. We have deputed a instructor from a close-by college,” said BEO Alati Somashekharaiah.

“There is not any fact in the allegation that there are no lecturers in the college. A guest college is working,” he added.
