Techie kills wife and son, torches their bodies


HYDERABAD: A man allegedly throttled his 26-year-old wife and four-month-old kid to demise, and later set the our bodies ablaze at an open plot in Ghatkesar. The perpetrator, a B Tech graduate, used to be arrested subsequently for the double homicide.

As Ghatkesar police have been seeking to identify the identification of the sufferers, their counterparts from Palakurthi in Jangaon district informed that one Ramesh of Gudur village in Palakurthi mandal approached them announcing he had throttled his wife and four-month-old son to demise, after which set the our bodies ablaze at Ghatkesar.


The sufferers have been recognized as Sushruta, and her yet-to-be named son. In 2015, Sushruta, a native of Bollikunta village in Warangal district, fell in love with Ramesh, a native of Gudur village.


Sushruta, a B Pharmacy graduate, belonged to a Scheduled Caste community, while Ramesh is a BTech graduate and belongs to a Backward Caste. He is working at a personal company in Vikarabad. Their members of the family have been in opposition to the marriage, and the couple were given married at Arya Samaj, Ghatkesar inspector P Raghuveer Reddy said.


“Ramesh claimed Sushruta used to be staying along with her parents for the past 8 months as a result of variations with him. On Saturday night, she together with the baby went to Uppal to meet Ramesh,” the inspector said.


“The couple, together with their boy went close to ORR in Ghatkesar to discuss their problems. They had an argument. After the verbal duel, Sushruta consumed slumbering pills and she even fed the powder of a tablet to the child. Ramesh didn't forestall her. As his wife used to be feeling drowsy, he drove them on a motorcycle to a close-by open land. Ramesh throttled his wife and kid. Then, set them ablaze on a heap of logs found at the open land the usage of petrol purchased from a filling station nearby,” he said. The police arrested Ramesh and registered a case beneath Section 302 and 201 of the IPC.
