Taliban warns India, Pak clashes will impact Afghan peace process

KABUL: The Taliban warned on Wednesday that ongoing clashes between India and Pakistan would have an effect on the Afghan peace process and told India to chorus from further army motion after its air strike in opposition to a militant camp in Pakistan the day gone by.

"The continuation of such conflict will affect the Afghanistan peace process," Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid stated in a commentary.

"India should not carry any further violence in Pakistan because its continuation will affect regional security also the continuation of such conflict will cost a lot to India," Mujahid stated.

The Taliban issued the commentary on the identical time that its leaders are retaining talks with US officers in Qatar aimed toward bringing an end to the 17-year conflict in Afghanistan.
