Sukhbir Badal woos Punjabi voters in Haryana with free power

AMBALA: Promising free energy to farmers, SAD president Sukhbir Badal on Saturday attempted to woo Punjabi voters in the state. He additionally alleged that Sikhs had been labelled terrorists throughout the regimes of former leader ministers Bansi Lal and Bhajan Lal.

Though Bansi Lal and Bhajan Lal had later shaped separate parties, they'd served as Congress CMs.

While addressing public amassing at the SAD’s Janchetna Rally at the new grain marketplace right here, Sukhbir added, “There are 40 seats in the Haryana legislative meeting on which the candidates are made up our minds with Punjabi votes. So, I urge all Punjabis to come back underneath one umbrella of SAD for representation of Punjabi community in Haryana. If we come to energy in Haryana, we will waive the electrical energy expenses of tube wells as was done via our govt in Punjab.”

He alleged that, “When Bhajan Lal and Bansi Lal used to be the manager ministers, Sikhs had been called terrorists and you people had been focused. The biggest enemy of the Sikhs is the Congress. After a duration of 34 years, Sajjan Kumar has been lodged in prison and now it's the flip of Tytler and we will now not backtrack. With the help of central govt, we've got put power to reopen the circumstances of atrocities. Recently, the circumstances of Kanpur incidents have been reopened with our efforts.”

Meanwhile, Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that, “If Sukhbir can send me, a Sirsa-based man to the Delhi legislative meeting, then it isn't impossible to send representatives of SAD from Haryana to the meeting.”
