Six held for tempo driver’s murder over affair


RAJKOT: Six individuals had been arrested on Sunday night time for allegedly strangulating a driver in Kanpar village of Jasdan taluka in Rajkot district.

Police mentioned an extramarital affair between the wife of one of the most accused and the sufferer used to be the explanation in the back of the crime.

The frame of Shailesh Dabhi (40), a resident of Juna Rajpipala village of Kotada Sangani taluka in Rajkot district used to be discovered on Friday evening.

The accused had been known as Keshu Rojasara (53), a resident of Rajpipala village of Kotada Sangani taluka, Jivan Barakhiya (45), a resident of Badpar village of Rajkot taluka, Pappu Vasunia (34), Vikas Vasunia (21), Mano Vasunia (21) and a 16-year-old boy, all natives of Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh. While Rojasara used to be arrested from Rajpipala village, the opposite accused had been nabbed from their hideout in Badpar village.


According to police, an extramarital affair between Dabhi and the wife of Rojasara used to be the explanation in the back of the crime. When Rojasara came to know about it, he hatched a conspiracy to homicide Dabhi with Barakhiya and Pappu. On the day of the crime, Pappu, Vikas, Mano and the minor boy hired Dabhi’s pace, telling him that they wanted transportation for labour paintings.


“When the pace reached the outskirts of Kanpar village, they referred to as up Rojasara and Barakhiya who arrived on their motorcycle. The accused then threw chilli powder into Dabhi’s eyes after which strangled him to death the use of a rope. After killing him, they dumped Dabhi’s frame on the pace seat,” mentioned M N Rana, inspector of Rajkot rural special operation group.


After the police discovered the footage of the accused with Dabhi on the petrol pump, they rounded up Pappu, Vikas, Mano and the minor boy who confessed to their crime and revealed the names of the co-accused, leading to their arrests.
