Schoolteacher booked for sexually harassing colleague


HISAR: Police have booked a guest teacher for allegedly sexually harassing and stalking a colleague running in a government faculty for the previous six months. The police have started investigation.

Police spokesperson Harish Bhardwaj said women police station have registered a case on the complaint of the 52-year-old lady guest teacher of a government faculty under Section 354-A (sexual harassment) and 354-D (stalking) of the IPC in opposition to a guest teacher.


In her police complaint, the girl teacher alleged that the accused had been making wrong gestures for the previous five-six months. She objected several times, however he didn't mend his tactics, she added.


She alleged that on February 2, a school reputable gave elevate to her and the accused. As he misbehaved, she grabbed his neck and informed him to prevent. She additionally informed the entire tale to the reputable. Later, she knowledgeable her husband about the subject, she added.


Police registered a case 10 days after receiving the complaint.
