Pune: College student beaten to death


PUNE: The Chakan police have booked 8 former scholars of a school in Khed, round 35km from here, for allegedly attacking a school pupil with sharp weapons and assaulting him to loss of life with iron rods on Friday evening.



Police on Saturday detained seven persons, together with three minors, from a place in Junnar. Police are searching for some other staff member, who's absconding.

The deceased has been recognized as Prashan Birdawade (19) from Chakan. He was once pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a school in Chakan.
