Now, get credit & debit cards issued at rly stn


CHANDIGARH: With a nationalised bank opening its counter on the Chandigarh railway station, passengers can now get their debit and bank cards issued on the centre.

Sources knowledgeable that a nationalised bank has carried out to the Ambala department to open its counter on the station.

Following this, the Chandigarh office department sought a document from the bank and got a website plan prepared for the new counter.

Passengers stated that any other factor which the government will have to take up is to open an ATM on the station.

For the past one year, the ATM services and products on the station had been close.

At present, all four ATM machines that have been installed on the Chandigarh railway station don't seem to be working.

R Okay Goyal, a regimen traveller stated, “This is a fundamental requirement which will have to be supplied on the station on both the sides—Chandigarh and Panchkula.”


Station director Hari Deep Kumar stated they've won the ATM policy and feature ship a request to the Ambala department to make it operational quickly.
