NHM workers extend strike

GURUGRAM: The National Health Mission (NHM) workers on Friday stated they will extend their strike till Sunday.
Over 600 NHM employees within the town have been on strike since Tuesday, tough increase in wages, everlasting employment, and many others.

Meanwhile, the Haryana govt started to terminate on-strike workers. On Thursday, the health division terminated five workers in Faridabad and 70 in Mahendragarh.

Hariraj, state normal secretary, NHM, stated, “The health officials known as on-strike workers in Gurugram and asked them to expose the list in their leaders. After the employees informed them there are no leaders, they started getting ready a list with our names.”

This move the federal government allegedly agitated the NHM workers, who made up our minds to increase the strike. Some of the employees informed NewsTread they're disenchanted with being known as as “hassle mongers”.

According to the calls for put forth by the NHM workers, they should be given everlasting employment, allowances for uniform and youngsters’s education, traveling and day by day allowances, clinical benefits, leaves, overtime for drivers, and extra.
