Man booked for repeatedly raping woman


HISAR: The Hisar police have booked a person for allegedly raping a 22-year-old scholar for over four years, which made her have a miscarriage twice. The accused’s father has also been booked for sexual harassment, and his mom for causing hurt.

However, Hisar women police station registered a zero FIR and despatched it to Rawatsar in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan for additional investigation.


A police spokesperson said a zero FIR number case used to be registered at the lady police station under sections 313 (causing miscarriage), 323 (causing hurt), 376(2)N (steady rape), 354-A (sexually harassment), 506 (prison intimidation) and 34 (not unusual goal) of the IPC in opposition to the 3 accused, all resident of Sirsa district, on the complaint of 22-year-old rape survivor.


The rape survivor instructed cops that she changed into pals with the person, who raped her, when she used to be studying in faculty. She said, in April 2016, they had gone to attend her friend’s marriage function and stayed at a hotel, where he raped her. She said that once she instructed him that she would bitch to her family, he promised to marry her after discovering a good job. Later, he saved her in a rented space in Hisar and repeatedly raped her, she added.


In August 2017, she were given pregnant but the accused were given the foetus aborted in a sanatorium. Later, in December 2017, she used to be pregnant once more however he gave her medications to abort the foetus. However, she fell unconscious and had to be admitted in a sanatorium. Once out of the sanatorium, she requested his parents and hers to return to Hisar and stick with them in the rented space. However, there too, the accused’s father tried to sexually harass her, and when she resisted, threatened to kill her.
