Lion attacks 2 in Porbandar

RAJKOT: Two other folks were attacked by a lion close to Madhavpur village, 60km from Porbandar. This was once the primary incident of lion sighting in the area and it's believed that the large cat came from Mangrol side. According to the wooded area department, there was once a public collecting in Osho Ashram on the outskirts of coastal village Madhavpur. All of a surprising, a lion appeared and attacked Arjun Mawadia (75) from at the back of when he was once plucking flora on the ashram.

The lion then disappeared into the timber. But some curious youths went to the timber to have a look on the lion in spite of caution from the wooded area officials. When the youths were attempting to document a video of the lion with a mobile phone, it pounced upon one Shyam Solanki (23) and injured him. Chief conservator of wooded area (wildlife circle) D T Vasavda stated, “Generally, lions are not observed on this area. We had discovered a pug mark close to the village a month again. Ouf first impression was once that there were two lions however there was once only one in that area.”

Both injured individuals were equipped treatment and are stated to be out of risk.
