Land acquisition process for Pillur III water project picks up steam


The Pillur III ingesting water supply augmentation mission has won momentum with the district administration marking parcels of land for the mission and in the hunt for permission from the state executive to head ahead with the land acquisition procedure.

In all, 1,027 landowners must promote their land for the mission.

The legit stated that they have got been planning to store water at six grasp garage tanks before distributing it to the residents. Apart from three present tanks – one in Bharathi Park and two in Ramakrishnapuram, they might be constructing any other three tanks – 20 lakh litres tank at Pillaiyarpuram, 15 lakh litres tank at Press Enclave and 20 lakh litres at Valarmathi Nagar.
