Jewar airport project to take off in March


GREATER NOIDA: The foundation stone for the Jewar airport mission is perhaps laid in the first week of March, local MLA Dhirendra Singh stated after a meeting with leader minister Yogi Adityanath late on Sunday evening.
The CM had arrived in Greater Noida to supervise arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to inaugurate Petrotech 2019 on Monday.

Singh stated Adityanath had directed administrative officials to expedite paintings related to the airport mission and whole the process through February 28. He stated the foundation stone might be laid between March 1 and three to steer clear of the election code of habits, which kicks in from March 4.

“I met the chief minister on Sunday evening when he made a surprising visit to Greater Noida ahead of the Prime Minister’s programme. While he mentioned public application schemes and different issues regarding the district, the CM also laid to relaxation all hypothesis regarding the Jewar airport mission through directing officials present to complete all paintings through February 28. The foundation for the mission will likely be laid in the first week of March, including bhoomi pujan,” stated Dhirendra Singh, the Jewar MLA.

According to the MLA, MP Mahesh Sharma had also prompt officials to complete all paintings related to the mission as early as possible.


District magistrate BN Singh echoed the MLA at the CM’s request that each one paintings be expedited. “Yes, he has asked all initial paintings to be finished at the earliest,” DM Singh stated.


With the Lok Sabha elections slated in the following couple of months, UP finance minister Rajesh Agarwal had put aside Rs 800 crore for the Jewar airport mission.


Asked about the growth of work, YEIDA CEO Arun Veer Singh stated: “The bid document at the airport is predicted this week from the ministry of civil aviation. We expect the foundation stone laying ceremony to be held in the first week of March, almost certainly earlier than March 4.”
