Hyderabad: Quarrel over Rs 500 leads to murder


HYDERABAD: A petty quarrel over cost of Rs 500 while taking part in cards proved deadly for a Tolichowki resident when 4 of his pals bashed him to death at Hakimpet in Banjara Hills on Tuesday night.

Banjara Hills police said that Javed Pasha went to Hakimpet to meet pals — Imtiaz, Sajjad, Nizam and Syed. They fed on alcohol and played cards. Following the sport, Pasha was intended to get Rs 500. Soon, a serious argument ensued between him and the quartet. The accused repeatedly thumped Pasha on his middle. When Pasha collapsed, the apprehensive pals shifted him to a medical institution the place he was declared introduced lifeless. The accused surrendered ahead of police. A case was registered beneath section 302 (murder) of IPC. The victim was an auto driver.
