Gurugaman to roll out 20 more buses, launch third route on February 16

GURUGRAM: The 3rd direction of the Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited (GMCBL) will probably be introduced on February 16 after a prolong of just about 3 months, with a fleet of 20 low-floor, non-AC passenger coaches that will ply between Garhi Harsaru and Dundahera.

The first bus at the direction — number 215 — will start from Garhi Harsaru around 6am each day and cover Housing Board Colony, Model Town, Bus Stand, DLF Colony, Anamika Enclave, Sukhrali Enclave and Maruti Suzuki area sooner than achieving Dundahera. The final bus will start at eight.40pm from Garhi Harsaru and achieve Dundahera at 9.40pm.

“This direction will duvet spaces in the previous town, and the buses will run at a frequency of 10 mins,” mentioned a GMCBL respectable. GMCBL CEO Chandrashekhar Khare did not reply to phone calls and messages.

According to the authorities, a total of 500 town buses will probably be inducted on all 25 routes in levels. In the primary phase, 200 buses will probably be rolled out on 11 routes, together with the ones introduced up to now. A GMCBL respectable instructed NewsTread that these 200 buses would be inducted via the summer of 2019. However, meeting the closing date would be a large challenge for the authorities which were delaying the launches of new routes.

Owing to bad response the GMBCL has been receiving at the direction number 112— the second one direction — it has made changes on it. Earlier, 20 buses have been rolled out on this direction, but now most effective 10 buses ply between Ghata and Krishna Chowk. Other 10 buses from this direction will probably be diverted to the direction connecting Krishna Chowk with Shankar Chowk, mentioned resources in GMCBL. This will probably be referred to as direction number 222.

TOI had earlier reported at the poor response the Gurugaman bus provider is receiving at the direction number 112. Most buses working at the direction are nearly empty although they duvet some necessary parts of town such as Golf path Road, Udyog Vihar and Palam Vihar.

According to commuters, buses at the direction don't ply via metro stations. Responding to the comments, the authorities are planning to link the direction with Sikanderpur metro station, Gurudronacharya metro station and DLF three metro station, mentioned resources. The second bus direction used to be to be introduced in October 2018. However, it used to be not on time via a month and a part owing to prolong in putting in place of the bus depot in sectors 53-54

The first town bus direction connects Huda City Centre with Sector 10. The fare structure of the 3rd direction is the same as that of the primary direction. The fare will probably be Rs 10 for the primary 10 stops, Rs 20 between the 10th and 20th stops and Rs 30 thereafter.
