For Rs 15L, workers lost Rs 3cr to union heads


AHMEDABAD: Rs 15 lakh bonanza proved pricey to 50 staff of a number one pharmaceutical company as some of them even misplaced their jobs. “Parvez Ibrahim Qazi, 40, a resident of Vatva, was once operating as conductor in Cadila Pharmaceuticals company in Dholka in 1999 on a monthly wage of Rs 1,250. “On December 21, 2018, Giri and Waghela called us and requested us to achieve a company’s place of work in Navrangpura. After which, Qazi and different 49 labourers approached Navrangpura police and filed a grievance of cheating and breach of trust in opposition to the two union leaders.
