Farmers laud Rs 1000cr allocation for Athikadavu-Avinashi project

Tirupur: Farmers within the western districts hailed the state government’s additional allocation of Rs 1,000 crore for the Athikadavu-Avinashi potable water supply and irrigation scheme in its funds on Friday. Lauding the efforts of Edappadi Ok Palaniswami-led AIADMK government, they stated this used to be the general push to comprehend the 60-year-old call for.

R Kumar, district secretary, Tamil Nadu Vivasayigal Sangam, stated, “We applaud the government for its devoted efforts to implement the undertaking.
