Driver stabbed to death during drunken brawl

BENGALURU: A 26-year-old tractor driver used to be stabbed to demise via a friend at a bar near Hosaguddadahalli, off Mysuru Road, southwest Bengaluru, on Sunday night time.

Byatarayanapura police mentioned Varun R, a resident of Kengeri Satellite Town and tractor driver and friend Ravi clashed over a petty issue. Ravi has long gone absconding after killing Varun, mentioned police, adding that they're yet to determine why the duo fought.

Police mentioned Varun, a native of Hosaguddadahalli, had shifted to Kengeri 10 months in the past. He came to Hosaguddadahalli on Sunday to satisfy and birthday party with his pals.

He and Ravi had a verbal clash over a petty issue four days previous. They discussed the issue when they fed on alcohol and had heated arguments again. In a fit of rage, Ravi allegedly took out a knife and stabbed Varun within the chest. Ravi fled the spot on his scooter, whilst different pals admitted Varun to a sanatorium.

“The incident happened round 10.40pm and Doctors declared Ravi lifeless on arrival. We’ve registered a case of murder and launched manhunt for Ravi,” mentioned a police officer.
