Cuncolim-based fibre boat factory goes up in flames

MARGAO: A fibre boat manufacturing unit, ‘Boat Craft’, situated on the Cuncolim business property, was once completely gutted in a blaze that broke out Thursday afternoon. Besides several fibre boats stocked within the unit, tools and machinery were also destroyed.

John Fernandes, the landlord of the unit, mentioned that the loss could run into crores of rupees. The F&ES is carrying out further investigation.
