CP Upadhyay honoured by NCRB for contribution in prison reformation


Nagpur: City police chief BK Upadhyay, an IPS officer of 1989 batch, has been conferred the Commendation Disc via the director common of police heading the New Delhi-based National Crime Bureau Records (NCRB) this week. The senior IPS officer were given the award for his contribution in reformation and improvisation of jail management.

The citation, which was once sent to Upadhyay together with the medal, honoured his outstanding service on the helm of the state jail division as Addl DG sooner than being shifted to city as CP in 2018.
