Cops asked to seize vehicles used by biker gangs

PATNA: IG Nayyar Hasnain Khan on Tuesday directed Patna police for intensive patrolling in the morning and near parks, schools and colleges for safety of ladies. He also ordered crackdown on the biker gangs energetic in the district.

The Patna zonal IG said the stairs have been being taken on the course of DGP Gupteshwar Pandey for starting up a weeklong special force against criminals in view of the impending general election.

“The district police has been directed to take hold of the automobiles utilized by the biker gangs and other criminals and report chargesheet against them inside of a month in instances during which they have been made accused,” he said, including all SPs, ASPs and SDPOs would supervise the force. He said crackdown on traffic rule violators would also happen.
