Congress event a 'chor show': UP minister


LUCKNOW: Newly appointed Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's roadshow in Lucknow brought about a combined reaction from the political events. While Samajwadi Party reiterated its earlier stance of welcoming political task and described the roadshow as a 'smart decision', the Bharatiya Janata Party pushed aside the event as "chor show" (display of thieves).


"It is good that political parties are doing what they were supposed to do ... That its Congress party's roadshow is even better," Akhilesh Yadav stated when requested to remark at the giant draw that the event used to be. Asked if it could lead to a triangular contest in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh stated Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and other events have joined arms to remove BJP from power and that he would appeal to the folk to make stronger this alliance.


Meanwhile, reacting to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's roadshow, UP cabinet minister and state government spokesperson Sidharth Nath Singh stated that the BJP would name it a 'chor display' (display of thieves). He stated all the Gandhi-Vadra family is out on bail and other folks of Lucknow had come to look individuals who were at the back of the Rs 12 lakh crore scam all over the previous Congress-led UPA regime.
