Congress biggest enemy of Sikhs: Sukhbir Badal

AMBALA: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal tried to draw Sikh electorate in Haryana via talking mostly at the issues associated with Sikh community, whilst promising free electricity to the farmers the use of the tube wells for agricultural functions - if voted to power here.

Sukhbir stated, “There are 40 seats in Haryana Legislative Assembly on which the candidates are determined with the Punjabi votes. So I encourage the entire Punjabis to come back beneath one umbrella of the SAD for representation of Punjabi community in Haryana. If we come to power in Haryana, we might waive off the electricity bills of the tube wells in Haryana similar to the way it used to be accomplished via our executive in Punjab.
