Chennai kids learn how to become great pet owners


CHENNAI: On Tuesday afternoon, on the subject of 100 children in Chennai came together to be told what they may be able to do to make the sector a better place for animals.

The programme, titled ‘Say Woof’, used to be initiated by way of Chennai-based charitable organisation The Coco Foundation, to build awareness amongst children on methods to deal with their pets and be kinder to each and every animal in want.


“One of our center of attention areas is to sensitise children to animals and for this tournament, we tied up with training centre Topdog Academy, to show children methods to pet canine and get them comfortable,” says Sudhalini Madhusudan, one of the crucial founders of the Coco Foundation.


Children learning in categories I, II and III, made friends with a educated German Shepherd, Poodle and Labrador and learnt methods to engage with canine in a secure approach, figuring out the wishes of their pet canine, dog frame language and coaching.


In addition to assembling such programmes for youngsters, The Coco Foundation also works in opposition to senior dog care and construction a network of vets and professionals to assist rescuers.
