Boeing appoints Salil Gupte as India head


NEW DELHI: Boeing India on Tuesday introduced the appointment of Salil Gupte as its president with effect from March 18.

Gupte, who was once vice-president of Boeing Capital Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company, succeeds Prat Kumar, who was once appointed vice-president and program manager of Boeing’s F-15 fighter plane program in November 2018.

The place might be based totally in New Delhi and Gupte will report back to the Boeing International head Mark Allen.

Salil Gupte will lead a workforce of over 3000 employees and joint venture workforce situated in Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Chennai. His leadership will lengthen to cover Boeing’s huge provide chain presence in India, its engineering and technology heart in Bengaluru, and Boeing joint venture with Tata in Hyderabad.


Boeing is the sector's largest aerospace corporate and leading producer of commercial jetliners, defense, area and safety methods, and repair provider of oem beef up.
