BJP-run NMC learns from AAP government’s Delhi schools


NAGPUR: BJP offers up no alternative to criticize Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) govt in Delhi. That didn't save you BJP-ruled Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) from sending its group to Delhi to check and be informed from improvement in public colleges there.

It has come to fore from a letter submitted to AAP activists through NMC schooling officer Sandya Medpalliwar lately. As a part of one, schooling consultative committee visited colleges run through Delhi govt to witness the change and know the efforts they took for improvement. The committees also met deputy chief minister and better officers and accrued relevant information,” she stated.

Around 17 corporators have been a part of the Delhi tour. It was led through schooling consultative committee chairman Dilip Diwe and sports consultative committee chairman Nagesh Sahare, each from BJP. NMC sources informed NewsTread Diwe and Sahare are more likely to post a record of the tour to their respective departments quickly.

AAP govt has claimed its colleges at the moment are higher than private ones. It also claimed many scholars from govt colleges had cleared JEE, NEET and so on.


Despite expenditure of over Rs 50 crore in keeping with annum, choice of NMC colleges has decreased from over 300 to 148 in last 20 years. The scholar energy also went down from over 30,000 to 15,800 now. Diwe didn't reply to NewsTread calls.


Another tour of NMC’s two committees— water works and initiatives — to Bengaluru and Mysuru is creating a buzz in NMC circles. NMC claims its 24x7 Water Supply Project is perfect in the nation. The water works committee headed through Pintu Zelke at the side of a few officers visited Mysuru to check its 24x7 water provide mission. The two committees also visited rain water harvesting, forged waste treatment, bus carrier and so on in Bengaluru and is to return on Saturday.


Zelke stated town’s 24x7 water provide scheme has has higher development than Mysore’s.
