3 injured in clash, Phagwara tense

PHAGWARA: Almost nine months after a caste clash in Phagwara between proper wing Hindu and Dalit teams, hassle erupted within the town as soon as again on Friday night time. Three persons had been injured after contributors of Valmiki community and supporters of a Shiv Sena leader clashed with some other. Sources mentioned that whilst Shiv Sena contributors injured two Valmiki community contributors within the assault, the latter additionally managed to inflict injuries on Shiv Sena leader Inderjit Karwal’s nephew Rahul Karwal and broken his store in Baba Gadhia area.
