25-yr-old woman found hanging, father claims dowry death


GURUGRAM: A 28-year-old guy and his parents were booked in a dowry dying case on Tuesday after a 25-year-old non-public faculty instructor was once found placing from the ceiling fan of their home in Kakrola village on Monday.
The deceased’s father, Lakshmi, advised police that ever since he were given his daughter married to Raj Kumar, a truck driver, in 2015, she was once being subjected to dowry harassment by her husband and her parents-in regulation.

“They used to torture her as I used to be not able to provide him a two-wheeler all over their marriage ceremony. They ceaselessly asked her to pressurise us to provide them extra money and items. Whenever she objected, they thrashed and stressed her,” Lakshmi advised police.

“Raj was once addicted to alcohol and used to insult my daughter in public,” Lakshmi added.

Around 2pm on Monday, Lakshmi won a call from Satpal, Raj’s father, informing him that his daughter was once in poor health and has been hospitalised. Hearing the inside track, Lakshmi started for Gurugram from Bulanshahr, where he along with his family live. After a while, Lakshmi won some other name from one among Raj’s kinfolk, who informed him that his daughter had died.

Meanwhile, the police won a PCR name from a neighborhood residing in Kakrola village informing them about the suicide. when police reached the home, the found the lady placing from the ceiling fan. They rushed her to Rockland Hospital where docs declared her lifeless.

The frame was once later shifted to the mortuary at Civil Hospital and a postmortem was once performed on Tuesday. According to the docs, who carried out the postmortem, the frame bore a number of injury marks and dying was once led to by chocking.


Lakshmi, in his complaint, pointed out that he had talented a two-wheeler to his son-in-law in January however this too couldn’t satisfy their greed. He alleged that his daughter was once strangled to dying by her husband and parents-in-law for his or her greed of dowry. An FIR was once registered towards Raj, Satpal and Santosh (Raj’s mom) underneath Section 304B (dowry dying) of the IPC at Kherki Daula police station.


in step with the police, the deceased was once running as a school instructor from the past few months as Raj has left his job and there was once no different earning member in the family.


“We are verifying the allegations made by the lady’s father. At present all three accused are absconding. We are engaging in raids to locate them and can soon arrest them,” said Subhash Boken, spokesperson for Gurugram police.
