2 SHOs suspended during Bihar DGP’s inspection

PATNA: Four law enforcement officials, including two station space officers, had been suspended after DGP Gupteshwar Pandey discovered three persons illegally detained in the lock-up for a few days on Saturday middle of the night.

The law enforcement officials come with SHO of S Ok Puri police station Ok Ok Diwakar and Gardanibagh SHO Manoranjan Bharti. Both were suspended by DIG (central vary) Rajesh Kumar. The officers on responsibility at each the police stations were also suspended.

Sources said any person tipped off the DGP about illegal detentions at each the police stations and he made a surprise consult with, first to S Ok Puri police station round middle of the night. “I discovered two other people illegally detained. One was once stored in the lock-up for the last three days and had no longer been forwarded to prison. The station diary entry at S Ok Puri police was once made five days earlier than although it is required to be updated after each two hours,” Pandey instructed TOI.

The DGP also visited Gardanibagh police station round 1am on Sunday and located one individual illegally detained in the lock-up. “Same was once the case here also.
