Two from Guj killed, 22 injured in bus accident

SURAT: Two NRI women from Surat died in a street twist of fate close to Dayalachak in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning, while 22 others suffered accidents when the bus they had been travelling in became turtle on Jammu-Pathankot freeway. A bunch of 39 persons from Surat had been within the bus when it met with the twist of fate.

The deceased, identified as Ramila Naresh Patel and Meena Piyush Patel, both citizens of villages close to Bardoli of Surat district, died on the spot. Their 22 other relations also suffered accidents and had been shifted to hospital in Jammu. The families had been going to Amritsar from Katra of Jammu on Sunday. They had deliberate to go to Wagah border from Amritsar, resources just about the families knowledgeable.

Officers of district collector's office in Surat had been trying to touch relations of the deceased and injured persons on Sunday evening.
