Thane: Knife blade gets stuck in man’s stomach

THANE: A 40-year-old man was left significantly injured when a 13-cm-long knife blade snapped from its maintain and got wedged in his abdomen after a neighbour stabbed him over a petty factor remaining week.

The incident passed off aboard a running local past due remaining Friday.

According to Thane railway police, the victim, recognized as Siddhir Mandal, got into an argument with the accused, Amol Singh, over water provide factor of their neighbourhood in Diva.

The argument quickly grew to become violent after which Mandal, along with a few of his pals, went to Singh’s area. Fearing for his lifestyles, Singh allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and fled the spot and reached the railway station. Mandal and his pals noticed him board a slow local at Diva station and jumped into the similar trainer.

The Railway police controlled to track and arrest Singh.
