Overcast weather to prevail till Saturday


PATNA: The Patna Meteorological Centre has predicted occurrence of cloudy skies with risk of rain, thunderstorm or mud hurricane over the next two days as well.


As in keeping with the day by day weather bulletin issued via the meteorological centre, Patna, Bhagalpur and Gaya gained 3.4mm, 12.1mm and 4mm rainfall on Thursday. Weathermen attributed the wet weather to western disturbance, a low pressure space or extra-tropical hurricane originating from the Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea and Caspian Sea. While transferring eastward, it causes winter rainfall within the northwestern Indian subcontinent.
